Closing ceremony 2025

On July 4, 2025, this year's graduation ceremony of the Department of Architecture and Civil Engineering took place in the Rudolf Chaudoire Pavilion on the South Campus. In summery weather and a festive atmosphere, graduates, family members and teaching staff from the department came together to celebrate the successful completion of their studies.
Dean Prof. Dr.-Ing. Mike Gralla opened the event with a warm welcome address. Dipl.-Ing. Carolin Strotmann then addressed inspiring words to the graduates in her speech, before the jazz trio "Jazz for fun", consisting of members of the TU jazz ensemble, opened the ceremony with music.
During the official part of the event, numerous study prizes were also awarded this year. These included the Prix de Bouvard et Pécuchet 2025, the Drees und Sommer Prize, the Züblin Prize and other awards for outstanding project work and theses in Bachelor's and Master's degree programs.
A highlight of the evening was the ceremonial presentation of the graduation certificates to the Bachelor's and Master's graduates. The certificates were awarded by the respective professors.
Following the official part, the department hosted an outdoor reception with drinks and snacks. The summery setting around the natural stone pavilion provided space for conversations, encounters and many personal souvenir photos. The jazz trio also provided a musical backdrop with further pieces.
The department congratulates all graduates on their successful graduation and wishes them all the best, success and many new perspectives for the future.
