Contents and skills
The specialization provides a holistic and interdisciplinary understanding of the economic, legal, technical and ecological principles of the construction and real estate industry in combination with in-depth knowledge of building services engineering and the special organizational features of TGA project management, leading to an outstanding professional qualification for construction and real estate management with a specialization in building services engineering. The in-depth practice of building technology issues over the entire building life cycle, the management of all project participants and comprehensive methodological and problem-solving skills within the interdisciplinary teaching concept of the Dortmund Model, in which students from all disciplines of the faculty are trained together, enables students to apply the knowledge they have acquired independently and reflectively and to work methodically on their own.
Compulsory choice of subjects for the specialization
- all specialization modules 501b, 521-523b, 525b and 527b
- all optional subjects from subject group C in elective area 1 + 2 (modules 531/532)
- Master's thesis in the subject area of the specialization
